Forged steel panels between wooden posts for footbridge Trowbridge, Wiltshire

I entered this competition in 1998. The brief was to come up with a gate and railings to separate the new Sustrans cycle path from private housing opposite

The site was the disused old Railway station ‘Black Dog Halt. It seemed fitting to me to commemorate this site with symbols of dogs and the railway

I was happy to have won the competition and worked closely with the contractors from my design and fitting the iron work on site
