I commissioned Laura Lian to do bronze head statues of my 3 children who were aged 6,8 and 10 at the time following meeting with her having acquired one of Laura's excellent John Lennon limited editions.

Laura was painstaking in her attention to detail and the kids really enjoyed their trip to Laura's studio for their sitting and to see the clay work in progress.

The final results were outstanding and all the kids were pleased with their statue and I know that as they change and grow up they will appreciate this reflection of a moment in time even more. I fully recommend such a project to any parents considering, you will be in very safe hands with a genuinely gifted lady.

Children's sculpture portraits in bronze

One of my strengths and loves, is doing 'portrait sculptures' for people in clay for bronze casting.

I also have done 'childrens' portraits' in clay for bronze and resin bronze over the years. These pictures are of some samples.

I work mainly from photos but need to have a few sittings, so this makes it easier as children don't like to sit for long.
