I was commissioned to come up with a design of parapets for The Millenium Bridge in Melksham Wiltshire 1999 for 2000
I decided on a ‘nature’ theme as the bridge was set in a natural conservation area on the edge of town
I used wavy lines to join the reed like posts and used silhouettes of animals in the river
The design was well received and I was asked to repeat this design for 2 other bridges in the area
