The bronze memorial in tribute to Richard Butcher and Keith Alexander.
A bronze statue in memory of a former-Lincoln City and Macclesfield Town player and his manager has been unveiled. Richard Butcher died in January 2011, 10-months after the death of Keith Alexander in March 2010. Butcher had three spells playing for Lincoln City, two of those under Alexander. They also teamed up together at Peterborough United and lastly Macclesfield Town. And to remember the two, who are thought of highly at the clubs they represented, family members and former-team mates have worked to get two bronze memorials installed. The first at the Trust Suite at Lincoln City’s Sincil Bank Stadium, and a second is soon to follow at Moss Rose, Macclesfield.
